The Schlage Biometric HandPunch 3000 is equipped with Hand Geometry Technology. Every time the employee places their hand into the HandPunch 3000 terminal, the camera takes a 3 dimensional scan of the length, width and height. It then turns the image into an algorithm and saves it for future verification. The Schlage HandPunch 3000 is a Biometric Time Clock designed for Time and Attendance Software. With a HandPunch, there are no cards to create or administer, and users’ credentials can’t get lost, stolen or duplicated without authorization. Since the user is identified by hand geometry costly “buddy punching” is eliminated.
